CAMBODIA EXTRAS

Personally Ablaze

The Groth’s tuk tuk driver always likes to read anything in English.  He asks to borrow their newspaper and loves any other source of English practice. One day he drove them to the Christian Book store to look for materials for classes.  They were surprised to see the book of Luke in English and Khmer; it was particularly interesting because the verses were directly across from one another.  Jeanette took the book out and while Chuck was paying the bill she asked the driver to point out which words in Khmer matched the English words.  As they discussed this, another tuk tuk driver came and helped them as they worked with the translation.  She asked her driver if he would like to have the book and he said "yes". You can imagine her joy when several days later while he was waiting for her she saw him reading the Gospel of Luke.  Please pray that this man's heart will be ABLAZE for Jesus one day.
